The director Rakesh sold his house and land to make the film. But this did not stop Shekhar Suman and Supriya from bashing Rakesh in the media. They stated there was no proper accommodation, costumes or shooting. Plus pending payments .Supriya was running a high fever, but Rakesh forced her to shoot for the film . The final blow was Rakesh refusing to pay Supriya's make up man. Shekhar and Supriya stormed off the set, vowing not to complete the film. It was then that Rakesh got his father to go and apologize to them and plead with them to finish the film.
