Where do we live?
kosmasp7 November 2023
Or is more like when do we live and do we live at all? Or who are we living for? So I reckon - no pun intended(?) ... I saw this playing in Greece when I was there in summer. And it looked like it was a good movie, but I was not able to go watch it back then. I only had a limited time - and the one screening per day did not fit into my schedule.

I was able to watch it now though and my feeling about it was right. While it is quite raw, with many things that I reckon can be called flaws ... it is really well done. Be it the acting, the story and the characters. And it feels quite ... well Greek! The mentality and all that. Of course there are things that seem ... alien. Like how the family seems to be torn - that is the main family. But it has to, so the story works out (in the end).

The system, the people moaning and complaining about life and how hard it is - the cards they have been dealt with ... drama baby as I like to say. But as said above already, very well done one! And very well acted too. If you like small movies with heart and a story ... this can be one of the movie your are looking out for. If you are aware of Greek television and shows you may also recognize some of the people involved in this. My sister was able to point many of them out.
