The first episode of the series to follow only one story line, Hannah's, and not include any appearances by the rest of the main cast save Alex Karpovsky (Ray) in the beginning.
According to Lena Dunham, the idea for the episode and a great deal of the text came to her during a fever dream.
This is essentially a bottle episode with just Lena Dunham and Patrick Wilson, set in his character's brownstone apartment.
