- Junya and Nanami are two filmmakers who have lived together for 15 years but they decide to move away from each other to develop a final common artistic project: make a documentary between Tokyo to Paris to "follow in the footsteps of couples who separate." They will communicate their feelings and their moods through videos they send to each other, one in Paris, the other in Tokyo. Nanami finds herself overwhelmed by the emotions she feels and Junya finds himself suffering a malaise as a filmmaker but both continue their documentary charting their lives and friends until the very end.
- Junya and Nanami have been in a relationship for 15 years. They make a documentary together, but, due to differences of opinion, they decide to break up. While Nanami stays in Tokyo, Junya leaves for Paris to find inspiration for a new creation. One day, Nanami suggests to Junya that they work on a new documentary "following a separated couple," using themselves as main material. Expecting a new meeting, Junya and Nanami try to find out more about love, life and creation. During this time, their beautiful and sad video letter comes and goes between Tokyo and Paris.
