A wonderful and thoughtful supernatural film

Yet again writer and director Eveshka Ghost has created and delivered a very well constructed and original film. A former nurse, a sensitive and caring woman, loses her sight but develops an ability to see and communicate with ghosts who manifest in a variety of settings. Extensively shot on location and on a very taut budget, the film soon draws you in. The characters are rounded and feel very real, and that includes the ghosts! The interplay between the two main female characters is very finely drawn and their conversations are credible and heart-warming. Broken Eyes received the award of Best Low Budget Film at the Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival (July 2023). It also received the award for best Score at the July 2023 Los Angeles Film Awards; Eveshka scored the film and throughly deserved this award, the musicianship being impeccable. This was my first experience of seeing a full-length feature film shot in interesting outdoor locations and on a tight budget. The result is truly impressive. All components from script to acting to cinematography and the score were of a very high standard. This film is charming and mysterious. It shows what can be achieved by a very talented and experienced writer-director and a dedicated and very talented cast and crew. I look forward to seeing more of Eveshka's films.

Brilliant!

Very clever storyline with some twists and turns along the way. Thoughtful use of disabilities and the struggles they bring to those affected.

Each character was very individual and brought together with their own stories as the main character tries her hardest to help them. As a Nurse she felt it her mission to help the dead as she had helped the living.

The film showed me kindness and how we can all relate to life's problems and often need help without even realising.

Filmed in some beautiful settings, this very low budget film certainly made the best of each location and I would certainly recommend watching it.
