Ben and Kate B-Squad

Warning: Spoilers
Ben instead of working with food at the gold club now gets to be the announcer starting with a death not even able to make a moment of silence for the dead man. He is then visited by an old friend Matt Swan (David Hornsby) who is living well while Ben is living OK but not as good as Matt. Maddie's friend Norman is not going to get into the advance class even though Kate has all the hope Maddie will. Maddie starts to ask Ben about her dad but neither Kate or Ben are able to tell Maddie the truth about her dad. Bj and Buddy get even more sexual and we then find out Bj is annoyed her mother Wendy will be coming for a visit, but Bj has lied to her mom so much she does not know what her last lie was. Kate visits Maddie's teacher and is told Maddie did not make it into advance class which could have something to do with having a single parent is what the teacher tells her. Ben is told by Tommy that Matt used the piazza idea to make all his money which makes him mad. Kate stole from the school and Ben tells her to give it back for other students. Bj meets with her mother Wendy (Jane Seymour) at a very nice restaurant she lies about owning. Tommy gets in on the lie being Italian. Ben stole the B-Sqaud and they then go on a trip to the city planetarium. Tommy tells Bj not to lie anymore. Ben then goes into Matt threatening to sue for his original idea Matt is making money off. Ben and Kate finally get to the planetarium but are too late and start blaming themselves for being late. Wendy comes to meet Bj at the bar and when Wendy meets Buddy the two flirt. Buddy learns Bj and Wendy are related loving every minute of it. Bj tells her mom the truth and apologies are made. Ben and Kate finally the kids to see real stars and everyone seems happy. Funny episode and Jane was just amazing to me as Bj's mom and Punch, Seymour and Corddry were so great together. Ben and Kate's plot was fine but not exciting at all.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Jane Seymour)
