- At Henderson's Point, Steve and Tam are surprised by a visit from Mrs Phelps from the museum who confirms the cave paintings' authenticity.
- Tam and Steve decide their only option is to sell ""Henderson's Point"" as they know how much trouble the town is in, but then Mrs Phelps arrives from the museum and tells them the markings are authentic and over 2000 years old. Mrs Phelps suggests selling to the government, as they would preserve the land and not destroy it. Tam and Steve discuss selling to the government with Wal who agrees to look into it for them. Wheeler arrives to finalize the details, Tam tells him that they won't sell to him, he goes mad and Mike throws him out. Mike and George are called away to a car smash on the other side of town. Char and Cowboy have a heart to heart and agree to just remain friends.
- At Henderson's Point, Steve and Tam are surprised by a visit from Mrs Phelps from the museum who confirms the cave paintings' authenticity. She explains there's another way to save Haven Bay - sell Henderson's Point to the Tourist Authority. Wheeler is angered to learn the kids won't be selling to him. When Mike and George are called out of town to a car accident, Wheeler takes the opportunity to approach the kids again, this time threatening to blow up the cave if the kids don't sell. With the explosives in place at Henderson's Point, Andy is overpowered trying to stop Wheeler's men. No one in town believes Wheeler was serious about blowing up Henderson's Point so Steve rallies Brains and the kids in the Show Parade to gather at Henderson's Point. Meanwhile, Mike and George realise the accident call is a hoax and rush back to Haven Bay. Steve and Tam delay Wheeler until the parade arrives at which time Wheeler's men refuse to blow up the site (and the kids). Enraged, Wheeler orders Rutt to disperse the kids at gunpoint. At the last second, Cowboy arrives or horseback and grabs the detonator, throwing off the cliff. In the ensuing fracas ensues, Cowboy chases down Rutt, while Mike and Steve pursue and catch Wheeler. At the end of the day, Wal makes two announcements: he has a new job, and Haven Bay will be developed as a tourist resort - the tourist authority has agreed to purchase Henderson' Point. The tourist authority can't match Wheeler's offer but they've given their assurance the environment will be protected. Steve and Tam make a decision about their future. With their friends moving on with their own lives, Char has a new job, Brains, now Bronco, is the leader of a new gang, Tam and Steve say their farewells and leave Haven Bay with the father.
