"Continuum" continues to get better

Warning: Spoilers
"Continuum" began with a lot of promise, but after the first few episodes I had the feeling I was watching just another version of "CSI" with slightly futuristic technology. The last episode of the first season steered the show back on track, and the second season has been a considerable improvement so far. This is the obligatory "mole inside the department" episode, and it doesn't have much action, but it does have a twist, and the idea of Kiera's "built-in" shrink, invisible to others, is close to brilliant. Alessandro Juliani does a great job in the role; he is both creepy and funny (when Kiera is in the middle of an urgent crisis situation, he calmly tells her that they need to talk about her feelings!). And if she's not "cured" in an hour, all the memories causing her distress (mainly those of her son) will be erased. THIS is the kind of concept that I watch sci-fi for in the first place. *** out of 4.
