Chas's court day one

Warning: Spoilers
This is one Emmerdale episode released about a decade ago and well directed by Michael Lacey. Initially, I haven't seen all of it: just I mainly found and watched finally watched it all online.

I'm only interested in the one and only storyline surrounding Chas who is in court facing a life sentence for murder surrounding Carl's demise. I admire her appearance and dressed in the courtroom. Debbie is not attending as she will the following day, although no idea who she's on the phone to, enquiring on how Chas is feeling. While Chas having a look to see who is there to support her, those include Charity, Paddy, Zak and even Moira who I admire is pretty and she's quite a good friend to Chas. Dan feels his presence could make Chas plea guilty can't risk going. I like café scene when Moira saying Jimmy's doing right thing, and Jimmy saying he doesn't have justify himself to Cain. Although she's nervous, I am happy with Chas's plea of "not guilty". The prosecution barrister Miss Fisher is played by Australian Christine Stephen Daly who I've seen as Zain Nadir's girlfriend and businesswoman: Kristen Shaw in former police drama: The Bill - same with Dominic Power (Cameron's actor) and Natalie Robb (Moira's actress) even in the pub when Moira said prosecution lady seems fierce.

Cain even turned up late and getting stares by Moira and he totally makes a big humiliation by disrupting the proceedings about Chas using Debbie's situation to her advantage, and the judge is angry with him. Moira is certainly not happy with Cain either for his disruptive behaviour and Debbie gabbing about her day on the stand like being under the spotlight - as she wants Chas sent down so she and Cameron will never be together. Yet, Cameron is not trying hard enough to stand his ground in giving Debbie a piece of his mind.

As I just seen the rest of this episode on-line, there's the nativity play which is hilarious (mention getting better deals than rip-offs, and free Wi-Fi) yet some don't consider it appropriate as to why the play is held in the Woolpack. Jacob's role as innkeeper isn't much the same without his ma Alicia who wouldn't be released on time as David and Priya decided to have it filmed. The moment Alicia turned up out of the blue by the door when Jacob (and the audience turned their attention) saw her was a highlight moment. There's Priya getting upset about David reunion with Alicia.

Overall, much like this episode a bit more even with the hilarious nativity play and the likelihood Chas be acquitted.
