This musical web series is amazing! I've only seen the first episode and I can't wait for more! It is a darker musical with a great concept. The most impressive part is the music! AMAZING! The vocals are incredible and the instrumentation to go along with is well thought out and perfected. I can't wait for more!

The plot involves an ancient blessing which a Sphinx granted an Egyptian King nine lives, which was then passed down from generation to generation. The main character is a decent of this king, however, he finds this blessing to be a curse. His life is miserable and all he desire for is the end.

Heavier, kinda darker musical spin on the 'advantage' of having nine lives. The plot is interesting - an ancient Egyptian king is granted 9 lives from a cat goddess, which becomes encrypted in his DNA (or something like that) so is then passed down to every male descendant - and it will hook you right from the start! It's like those weekly TV dramas that always leave you hanging by a thread, agonizing that you have to wait a WHOLE week to watch another episode and see what's next! Only this is better because it has music! I need more! I want to know what happens and you will, too! Oh, and just a by the way: the lead is incredible - a nice deep, melodic voice with a good vibrato - and the music.... oh, the music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, love, the violin in it! You - Watch it. Now!!

Original Musical Web Series? YES PLEASE!

This is such a unique web series. There are not that many musical web series out there, so musical fans are kind of left lonely in the web series world. But not any more! So far, the songs are my favorite part! "Nine Lives" is a catchy and haunting tune. The instrumentation is simple yet effective (piano, guitar, strings, percussion). The harmonies are unique and really effective for this style of music. It is also great to see an original storyline put into a musical form. So many musicals on Broadway nowadays are just movies transformed into stage shows, which can be great. But there needs to be more originality, and I can definitely see this turning into a stage show eventually! Definitely a fan. This is fantastical, yet mysterious. The first few episodes leave a lot of questions which will hopefully be answered in later episodes. I highly recommend this, and look forward to more episodes.
