Exciting talent on display

A beautifully shot study of a young mans journey into manhood. Exquisite photography and haunting music take us deep into the mind of an angry, but highly likable, young man trying to find his place in the world. Gritty at the start we then see Andy taken out of his urban hell and placed into the beautiful North Norfolk countryside to think things through and contemplate the impact his explosive lifestyle is having on those around him. At times sweet and delicate, the film delights throughout with a fine cast performance though Tom Grace shines in the lead role. The opportunity to add a twist to the love interests back story is not developed but the film is a worthy showcase to some exciting talent both in front of, and behind the camera.

Coming of age drama that ticks all the boxes.

Beneath a Neon Tide is a masterpiece filled with beautiful colours and excellent cinematography. Edwards does an extraordinary job with atmospheric landscapes and really powerful performances from Tom and the rest of the cast. Mark Benfield in particular steals the film however as the uncle. Great film to show any age range. Sometimes there's too much transitions and they can go on. That's why it's 9 otherwise it's very great.

A must see! Beautiful, captivating and inspiring.

Beneath a Neon Tide is a great film. It has all the things that I wanted to see in a drama. Andy is a young man on down the spiral. A number of incidents followed by the death of his darling grandmother decide Andy's parents to send him out of the city. Andy moves with his uncle David (played by the wonderful Mark Benfield) and starts working at the local cinema as David succeeds in making his way. He meets a young girl Milly and they engage in a love affair. Merging addiction, love and tragedy, and beneath a tide of neon lights, he discovers that there is something right inside us. I have recommended this film to a lot of people, friends and family. Breathtaking drama!
