Scripture rolls into Harlan
Mr-Fusion14 December 2016
Along with Loretta, Ellen May is one of the show's real tragic characters. 'Where's Waldo' has her being torn between Ava's no-nonsense leash and the lure of soul-cleansing with the Last Chance Holiness Church; and it's not even a real church. A character like this can only meet a miserable end.

And that church (shepherded by Joe Mazello, the kid from "Jurassic Park" - a genuine double-take right there) is cutting into Boyd's business (which means a standoff and Goggins in full firebrand glory; easily this episode's shining star. This is an engaging episode with its share of surprises, but Goggins owns this one.

Raylan as his bar girlfriend are in bed so he decides to open up the bar while she stays in bed. A guy walks into the bar and Raylan with this guy seem to have tension almost starting a fight but the guy decides to walk out. Ellen May now with Preacher Billy believes she is saved by god but Ava tells her Ellen May cannot be saved because of the sins she has committed. Art is visited by some guy at the office as they reflect on fugitives they have caught. Art then is reminded he must tell Raylan of Arlow killing someone. Raylan is told about Arlow and wonders what the murder has to do with the bag he found. Raylan then shows Art the bag and the two wonder who Waldo could be. Boyd has this new parish threatening his business but he does not seem to be worried about this parish. Art decides to go along with Raylan and Tim to try find Waldo. Ellen May goes back to the parish and talks to Billy about the sins she has committed and how they could save her, she is then told by Billy she can still be saved. Randall the guy from the bar seems to be a fighter trying to make some money. Boyd and his friend Colton talk to a guy about him selling heroine and how it is not allowed in his area. Randall won the fight but is not given all the money he wanted. After the fight the one he beat try's to fight with him but he easily takes him down to the ground. While waiting Art, Raylan and Tim talk about the sloppiness of Raylan lately. When someone comes to a letter box they follow him to a house where they believe Waldo is. They are then borough inside by Mother Truth waiting for Waldo and when Waldo arrives they it is the fake one and not the one they were looking for. Just as Ellen May is christened into the parish Boyd arrives to have some words with Billy. Boyd after having a fascinating speech with Billy notices his sister Cassie may be the one pulling the true strings. Wynn Duffy is called by Boyd and when Boyd wants to join Wynn he does not accept and kills the dealer for going outside his zone. At the end of the episode Raylan and Lindsey want to close the bar but in walks her husband Randall. OK episode with nothing really special except for the speech between Billy and Boyd which I just found so great to listen to. Nothing else was specially funny or dramatic.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Walton Goggins)
