The One With The Flashbacks...
taylorkingston21 September 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this episode. It's mainly because of the flashback scenes. It's so nice to see everyone from before the show is set. And not only is it awesome to see everyone like this, it also gives for some hilarious moments.

In this episode, some buyers show an interest in Grayson's house, but of course, the Cul- De-Sac Crew is first in for judgments. They also become nostalgic for the good-old-days. We travel back to a time when redneck Bobby, and Jules first bought their house. We even see young Travis. We see Bobby, and Andy meet, and of course, it was love at first sight. And seeing Ellie, and Jules meet is just so anticlimactic, considering that they hated each other at first. Meanwhile, Laurie's army boyfriend, Wade, returns home from Afghanistan early. At first, Laurie is happy, and excited, but then those feelings turn to worry, and fear, when she feels that Wade is becoming too clingy.

Title Card: Welcome to Cougar Town. This one's for you, continuity nerds.

Best part of the episode: The flashbacks.

Overall, I give this episode a 9 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Amazing.

Cougar Town gives us probably the best episode of the series

Warning: Spoilers
"Cougar Town gives us probably the best episode of the series" Yes, I'm not lying. When a couple tries to buy Grayson's house the cul-da-sac crew gets nostalgic and we can see some fresh memories.

Grayson thinks that he doesn't have a meet-cute with Jules, while the others have one. Booby/Travis meet cute was predictable but Brian's acting made it so funny and believable; Ellie/Jules meet cute was perfect and allowed us to see a vulnerable side of Ellie and Andy as a couple; Bobby/Dog Travis was hilarious and even if it was just an idea to mess around with Grayson it felt pretty cute; With Bobby/Andy meet cute the writers gave us the 2nd best meet cute.

Well the episode was perfect and it's hart to made a top but this is mine: #0 - Me/CougarTown - I was not expecting to be so addicted to the show when I saw the pilot. #1 - Grayson/Jules - The reason why the Cul-da-sac exists #2 - Bobby/Andy #3 - Travis/Laurie #4 - Ellie/Jules #5 - Tom/Jules - This one was sooo freaking creepy! No one could ever expect that. #6 - Bobby/Dog Travis #7 - Bobby/Travis

P.S: - we saw the origins of: Look at my rings, Penny Can, Jules and Wine, Cul-da-sac; - Wayne is back from Afghanistan and Laurie is growing.

Cougar Town Flirting with Time

Warning: Spoilers
Cougar Town does a flashback with a horrible look as we see a red neck version of Jules as we see Lawyer Ellie not liking her at first. The other part of the episode is Laurie who seems to be growing up as she must think about her situation with Wade which ultimately now adds another character to the cul-de-sac crew. The flashbacks were funny to me but I felt Cox overplayed the scenes which did not work for me seeing what Jules was once like in comparison to what she is like in present time. The episode did feel quite mixed throughout like the usually comedy the show does. I blame the lame flashbacks for it as they made me loose the comedy. Most of the scenes by everyone was overplayed and even Laurie and Wade stuff was boring for me.

EPISODE GRADE: C (MVP: Christa Miller)
