- The campaign showdown begins when Brittany and Blaine go head-to-head for student council president. Meanwhile, Kurt lands his dream internship.
- Open with Blaine saying his senior year is time for him to shine. He sings "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears for Fears as we see him going crazy being involved with extra curricular activities. He tells Brittany he's running for class president.
Kurt interviews with Isabelle Wright of Vogue.com, who turns out to also be originally from Ohio. After a few questions, she ends up hiring him to work with her on the website.
Brittany asks Artie to be her running mate. When she promises to basically let him run things, he accepts.
Will is having trouble coming up with ideas. Brittany and Blaine begin to argue over the race.
Sue tells Will his problem is the teaching profession finally beating him down.
Sam is a little bit upset Brittany didn't asks him to be her running mate. She says it's because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. She connects him with Blaine, who accepts him as his No. 2, and then challenges them to a debate.
After a staff meeting Wright asks Kurt what he thought about her team's ideas. She's having trouble being a manager since she can't say no to anybody. She starts panicking.
Artie is concerned Brittany needs help with her verbal preparation. Blaine also works on Sam's appearance and debate prep. This leads to Brittany and Sam singing "Celebrity Skin" by Hole.
At the show choir committee meeting there is discussion of funding. Will says he'll try to get on a government committee.
After classmates make fun of Rachel's clothes, Kurt says he's going to change her life. Late at night he brings her to the Vogue.com offices. Wright surprises them and Kurt tells her his plan was to do a makeover for the website. She loves the idea and helps him. This leads to a mashup of Tony Bennett's "The Way You Look Tonight" and "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from Annie (1982).
Kurt shows it to Blaine, who thinks the video looked great. Kurt seems not to be concerned with what's going on with Blaine.
Will talks to Emma about the panel. He filled out the application but hasn't yet applied. If he's selected he'd be away from school and the kids for months. She thinks he should chase his dream in the same way he's told the kids to.
Artie's first answer at the debate goes on and on and is highly detailed. Sam is asked if he's ashamed of being a stripper, and starts taking off his clothes. Blaine says he's offering change. Brittany says "I love you" to the school, then promises to try and have school year-round, including weekends.
Wright tells Kurt she forwarded her video to her superior and it went over well. They're going to re-shoot the concept, but he's getting credit for the idea. She suggests his future may be in design rather than Broadway, and invites Kurt to lunch.
Rachel and Brody talk about their transitions to being cooler. They sing Sheryl Crow's "A Change Would Do You Good" together. Afterwards they very nearly kiss and Rachel tells him she wants to cook him dinner the following night.
Blaine and Sam win the election. Busy with Wright, Kurt ignores Blaine's call. Blaine tells Sam he feels alone without Kurt. He did everything for Kurt and, with him gone, none of it matters. Sam tells Brittany he voted for her. They seem to be getting closer.
Will mails in his application.
Rachel and Brody have pizza together. They exchange secrets, and drink. Finn's name is mentioned and he says he's "hand's off, just friends." Even then, they kiss but get interrupted by a knock at the door. It's Finn, who's there to surprise her. He looks at her, sees Brody, and Rachel's face falls.
