Fox has given a script commitment plus penalty to Puller, an hourlong drama based on David Baldacci’s bestselling John Puller book series, from former Bones executive producer Carla Kettner, Drop Dead Diva creator Josh Berman, Oscar winner Gary Oldman (Darkest Hour), Douglas Urbanski and Sony Pictures TV, where Berman is under an overall deal.
Written by Kettner, Puller is described as an action-forward procedural thriller about John Puller, an investigator with the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division. Puller, a decorated former Army Ranger, faces the most difficult case of his life when his brother, a convicted traitor, escapes from a maximum security prison. Together with Veronica Knox, an army intel specialist, Puller searches for his fugitive brother. Bosch, the acclaimed Amazon crime series, received a renewal for Season 5 before Season 4 premiered.
Amazon has got a feeling that it can’t let go... when it comes to the retro-noir contemporary crime procedural series, Bosch, which stars Titus Welliver as the titular troubled Lapd detective. That’s because the retail monolith’s streaming platform renewed the series for Season 5 even before the 2018 debut of Season 4.
As if that wasn't enough, Amazon subsequently gave the show another early nod this past November, confirming that Bosch Season 6 is already a go.
However, we're going to maintain focus here on the fifth season of Bosch and everything we know so far!

Flynn Carson (Noah Wyle, ER), may appear to be an ordinary librarian working at the world-famous Metropolitan Library, but beneath the public library lies the centuries- old headquarters of scholars and adventurers who investigate the bizarre, collect dangerous artifacts and save the world from supernatural threats. This is The Library, and Flynn is The Librarian.
When an ancient conspiracy threatens to destroy technology and bring back the age of magic, Flynn and his new Guardian, Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn: King And Maxwell, X-men), must recruit three extraordinary people: a secretive scholar/cowboy who works on an oil pipeline, a hospital attendant who has the extraordinary gift of synesthesia – the ability to link all five senses to her memory, and a world-class thief – to join in the quest. If these new recruits fail, the world will be plunged into a new Dark Age. But if they succeed (and survive), they will become The Librarians.

TNT will not be going forward with a second installment of Frank Darabont’s period drama Mob City after a low-rated, six-episode run this fall as a limited series. “Mob City was created as a three-week television event and we are incredibly proud of the six hours we presented of this remarkable drama,” a TNT spokesperson said. “Although the ratings of the limited series haven’t warranted more hours we are eager to work with Frank Darabont again and were delighted to bring the vibrant world of Mob City to life.” Despite a big promotional push, Darabont’s Mob City didn’t get much traction from the get-go. The noir series opened with a soft 2.3 million total viewers and 801, 000 adults 18-49. That was at the higher end between TNT’s two previous debuts Monday Mornings and King And Maxwell - both of whom have since been cancelled. Mob City marks...

The two-hour premiere last night of Frank Darabont’s La Noirish limited event series pulled in 2.3 million total viewers for TNT. Debuting at 9 Pm, the heavily promoted Mob City drew 801, 000 viewers among Adults 18-49 and 875,000 viewers among the Adult 25-54 demo. While something quite different for TNT as a limited event series, and with good potential digital life, Mob City’s results last night are at the top end between the cable station’s two most recent debuts Monday Mornings and King And Maxwell - both of whom have since been cancelled. The David E. Kelly medical drama pulled in a weak 1.34 million total viewers at 10 Pm on February 4 this year with just 386,000 among Adults 18-49 and 472,000 among the 25-54 demo. The Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney P.I. drama drew 3.5 million total viewers with 825,000 among Adults 18-49 and a bit more than 1 million among Adults 25-54 on June 10. Mob City...

Rebecca Romijn has found a way to successfully support herself: the Hand Bra. In a new Funny or Die video, the former "King and Maxwell" star displays the many uses of her new marketable invention.
"My hands are the bra. It's a hand bra! And it comes in this [hands] size," Romijn says during the comedy video. "The Rebecca Romijn hand bra is the only bra designed to support me during any activities without leaving lines or pinching."
At one point, a less than satisfied customer laments the drawbacks of the Hand Bra, like the fact Romijn is only available for it between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm, and it's only usable within a 15-minute drive of the Los Angeles area. Romijn also considers introducing the Hand Cup for men, but quickly changes her mind.
Though this video was clearly made all in good fun, it also is being used to raise breast cancer awareness.

Clearly, TNT loves Jon Tenney.
And the feeling is mutual, since the actor has worked for the cable network for the better part of the past decade. After his long run as FBI Special Agent Fritz Howard -- longtime friend and eventual husband of Kyra Sedgwick's Brenda Leigh Johnson on "The Closer," a role he's occasionally reprised on the spinoff "Major Crimes" -- Tenney launches a new TNT crime drama as "King & Maxwell" premieres Monday (June 10).
He and Rebecca Romijn play Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, former Secret Service agents now partnered as private detectives. The characters originated in best sellers by David Baldacci ("Absolute Power"), and they're odd-couple opposites: He's more refined while she's the street-wise one.
Michael O'Keefe ("Caddyshack") and Chris Butler co-star as FBI operatives in the show that includes Shane Brennan ("NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles") among its executive producers.

TNT‘s latest crime drama, King & Maxwell, has a somewhat familiar feel to it, but surpasses many of the network’s less interesting, but popular efforts. In the end, it looks as though that might not be a good thing.
Much like USA, it isn’t difficult to know that you’re watching something on TNT. Whether it’s The Closer, Leverage, Perception, or Falling Skies, the network has a certain feel to it. Of course, there are two camps to these shows, despite the similarity of style and substance, and the real question for any show is which side we’re leaning toward.
One camp begins and ends with The Closer. It’s a show I didn’t watch beyond the first season, largely because it flew out over left field and beyond so fast that I couldn’t even comprehend the interest, much less actually manage any. Good or bad,...

TNT is adding to its original-series lineup with a show about a pair of private investigators starring Rebecca Romijn and "The Closer's" Jon Tenney.
The untitled show is based on a series of novels by David Baldacci about Sean King (Tenney) and Michelle Maxwell (Romijn), former Secret Service agents who now work together as private eyes. The show was known as "King and Maxwell" in its pilot stage, but that's apparently out of the running now.
Ryan Hurst ("Sons of Anarchy"), Michael O'Keefe and Chris Butler also star in the series, which comes from "NCIS: Los Angeles" creator Shane Brennan. He's executive producing with Grant Anderson.
TNT has ordered 10 episodes of the series to premiere in the summer, presumably with an approved title.

Exclusive Updated: A new duo will be joining TNT‘s primetime. I’ve learned that the network has given a series order to the pilot King And Maxwell starring Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney. The series, which is now untitled, hails from from CBS TV Studios and NCIS: La boss Shane Brennan. Adapted from characters created by bestselling author David Baldacci, it has received a 10-episode order for a summer 2013 launch. In the vein of Moonlighting, the series follows Sean King (Tenney) and Michelle Maxwell (Romijn), who aren’t the typical pair of private investigators. Both are former Secret Service agents, and their unique skill sets (not to mention their razor-sharp chemistry) often gives them a leg up on suspects and conventional law enforcement. With her striking beauty, athletic prowess and Beltway connections, Maxwell is a formidable investigator, determined to prove herself after being forced to resign from the Secret Service.

Rebecca Romjin will play one half of the private investigator team in King and Maxwell, a TNT pilot from NCIS:LA executive producer Shane Brennan.
Romjin will play Michelle Maxwell, a former secret services agent who investigates politically sensitive cases along with her partner, Sean King (The Closer’s Jon Tenney). According to casting intel, Maxwell is a “formidable investigator” who was forced out of the Secret Service and is determined to redeem herself. (And before you ask, yes, there is a romantic element to their story.)
The actress, who has also appeared on Ugly Betty, currently co-stars on Ntsf:sd:suv:: on Adult Swim.
