Goofs

The fine wine served at the beginning of the party is referred to as an "'85 Rothschild." However, this is not enough information to identify the bottle as there are two highly prestigious wines associated with the name "Rothschild": Chateau Lafite-Rothschild and Chateau Mouton-Rothschild. To distinguish between the two, they are commonly known as "Lafite" and "Mouton" respectively. However, the bottle that WIll pours from appears to be a Lafite, so the error could be deliberate.

During the film, it is often mentioned that cellphone service at the home where The Invitation takes place is unreliable and spotty at best, yet several times the viewer can clearly see the lights of what appears to be a nearby densely populated area. Since the movie makes it obvious that the house is in LA/Hollywood Hills, the unreliable service issue is an early indicator that something is wrong and most likely deliberately caused by the hosts so the guests can't call out.

During the opening scene, the street address shown in the invitation has the number 3908. However, when they arrive in front of the residence, 8105 can be seen on the curb.
