Synopsis

  • "Warehouse 13" - "All Fall Down" - Oct. 1, 2012

After last week's scary conclusion of Leena (Genelle Williams) lying lifeless on the floor of the Warehouse, Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) return and try to call her cell to no avail. It's right on a nearby table.

They see alarms are going off in the Dark Vault and the Bronze Sector and they split up.

Pete goes to the Dark Vault and it's been destroyed and ransacked. Myka's at the Bronze Sector in tears. Leena is dead. She has been shot.

Back in the office Mrs. F (CCH Pounder) checks in from the Vatican and tells them Artie (Saul Rubinek) did it. They realize there is no other explanation. Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) arrives. They tell her. She freaks out. The evil has been created. It's Artie. Brother Adrian (Brent Spiner) explains when Robespierre used the astrolabe, it turned him against what he normally believed in and changed him which led to the reign of terror. Claudia refuses to believe Artie is evil. She thinks he's just been whammied like they all have. Mrs. F says they have to find him before there are any other casualties. Mrs. F tells them she gave the astrolabe to H.G. Wells and doesn't know where she is. She says to be careful since Artie knows them and their strengths and weaknesses so well.

Suddenly Pete sees a vision of Leena. No one else does. They are all very shaken up.

Back at the Vatican, Brother Adrian pitches in with Mrs. F and Steve (Aaron Ashmore) on research with Robespierre diary.

Back at the Warehouse Pete, Myka, and Claudia do research. Artie arrives and admits he's not himself and he needs the astrolabe to reverse the effects. He says there is no other way even when they tell him he himself told them he couldn't use the astrolabe or else it would destroy the Warehouse. They realize he's a hologram. He says to tell him where it is, which is the safer choice. Claudia pleads with him. Artie explains he is not in fact "Artie." He is something else. He will use the astrolabe to set Artie free from the Warehouse. Artie's image disappears. A fire breaks out in a section of the warehouse. They go put it out. They try to figure out what Artie was after in the IRS Quartum which held ancient Roman artifacts.

Back at the Vatican, Steve is getting bored doing research. Brother Adrian finds a text stating any man who lives a day twice will fracture and live as two until he is one again. Artie has a weird split personality basically. They figure there has to be some way to heal the fracture and get to Artie's good side. They have to hurry because the darkness will eventually extinguish the light. Mrs. F thanks Brother Adrian and says they're in his debt. He agrees and says if this works out he wants his astrolabe back.

At the Warehouse, they try to figure out what Artie was up to. Pete sees another vision of Leena. He tells himself she's not real. But he follows her anyway. He ends up in a dark room with torture devices. She points to an armoire. He opens it. It's empty. He feels around inside and finds a sheaf of papers with a photo of the dagger on it, like the one we've seen Claudia use in Artie's vision. He thanks Leena's spirit for helping out.

They call Mrs. F who says it was H.G.'s research. H.G. told Leena what she was up to in case anything "untoward" happened. Artie told H.G. to look for it, obsessed. He told her about his vision of Claudia stabbing him with it. Claudia says that doesn't mean it will happen. Mrs. F says maybe, maybe not. Pete admits he's seen Leena. Mrs. F tells them to find the dagger before Artie does. Pete says they need to think like Artie to find it and him.

Claudia finds him in Hungary via the interwebs. Claudia stays so she can't stab him if she's not near him. Pete and Myka head to Budapest.

We catch up to Artie at Customs. He sets off an alarm with his passport and is taken away by security. (Claudia has him flagged as a terrorist.) Pete and Myka are on their way to Prague to get the dagger from the man Artie was going to see. They figure out, with Claudia's help, he's trying to get the dagger in order to release a deadly artifact, the Chinese blue orchid, which could potentially wipe out half the world's population. The dagger can penetrate the "impenetrable" container the orchid is contained in. Then they'll have no choice but to give him the astrolabe to turn things back.

Mrs. F goes to pick up Artie in Budapest, but he disabled the guards with an artifact and escaped. She calls Pete and Myka. They tell her they'll snag the dagger before he even knows it's in Prague. The only problem is that he has hacked their Farnsworth's and is overhearing/seeing this conversation.

Steve meets up with Claudia in Berlin, Germany to find the Chinese orchid at Warehouse 8 or where it used to be, which is under an insurance company. Claudia busts Steve. He's not telling her something. He says all they've discovered is they can't heal Artie without using the astrolabe and since they can't do that without losing the world, they probably can't save him. Claudia believes they can. They descend deep into the ancient warehouse. Inside, however it's just an empty cave. They find some cave art.

Meanwhile in Prague, Pete and Myka head to the art museum to get the dagger. She and Pete chat about the future. Myka says they're still family. They will get through it. Pete wonders if they will because it's not just Leena being dead. Artie killed her. She says that's tomorrow problem. They walk around looking around for the dagger. They find it. Myka spots Artie. Myka tells him not to do anything foolish. She says they're trying to help. He says he wants the astrolabe. He calls Pete a dancing monkey and says he's one bad decision away from a drink and plays on his daddy complex issues. Artie then turns his button pushing on Myka and her know-it-all smugness and her aloneness. He says Artie wants them out of his life forever. He pulls out a noose artifact which hangs everyone in the room in the air. He takes the dagger and another piece. He then says he's finally done with them and walks out and leaves them hanging. Pete swings over to axes on the wall and cuts them down. They go after him.

He has made his way to Germany. There he unleashes a snake charmer artifact on a man.

Pete and Myka admit Artie has the dagger. Claudia and Steve show their clue. Mrs. F figures out Franz Steinbrook was the Artie of Warehouse 8. We cut back to Artie talking to the man, Steinbrook, his colleagues who are his family have shown up to help. He learned they moved the orchid. He says rogue agents are after him. They have to show him where the orchid is. They take him to a mill house. Steve, Pete, Claudia, and Myka show up and disarm the Germans. Artie says they've already lost the battle. They go to apprehend Artie after an appeal by Claudia does no good. The Germans use an artifact to disable them and they and Artie head up to get the orchid. Claudia zaps one German. Claudia and Steve take on the two others in hand to hand combat.

Pete and Myka are in attic searching when Artie tries to diasble them. Myka gets the dagger and takes off. She and Steve keep looking for the orchid. They find a false wall and uncover it. It's beautiful. They're trying to decide what to do when Artie shows Myka and Steve he has Pete with a gun to his head. He says they know he'll do it, right in front of them. Steve starts bringing the orchid. Myka drops the dagger down the mill wheel well. Artie yells "no!" Pete braces to be shot. Myka begs for his life since the dagger will be ground to pieces. Artie says it's over when he says it's over. He uses the time stopping barometer to grab the orchid and retrieve the dagger. Claudia catches up with him and begs him and says she knows he's still in there. He says he is saving Artie from all of them. She is the worst = an insolent child who will never be a woman who just wants people to love her. He tells her Artie doesn't love her or any of them. They ruined his life. He opens the orchid container with the dagger. It flies into the ceiling. Claudia grabs the dagger and realizes the moment of truth has happened. He says "I cast you out". She realizes she can do the same. She looks at him and hears her voice in his head, "Claudia, do it, save me." She grabs the dagger, screams "I cast you out" and stabs Artie in the chest. She then apologizes. He reassures her. As this happens, Pete and Myka and Steve run in. Pete dives to catch the orchid before it hits the ground. It disintegrates into a cloud of black smoke in his hand. The smoke twirls and grows and moves. It goes into all of their mouths and noses before shooting out the window, growing in size and rushing across the land through Germany to Paris to England to NYC. It spreads across the globe.
