Several of the same props appear in each different episode.
Five episodes were filmed at the directors cabin in Rangeley, Maine; in the Boat House, Backyard, guesthouse, living room and bedroom. The Spanish version was filmed a few months later at the Director's studio in Biddeford Mill in Biddeford, Maine.
The score is made up of eight variations on the same original song.
The Spanish version was translated on the spot by the bi-lingual actors and they had to work with the director to make sure the dialogue was correct, as he did not speak Spanish. The film is in Puerto Rican dialect.
Though the film was shot in the summer, the temperature was below freezing the night that the outdoor scenes were filmed. The scenes had to be filmed in short segments, to protect the actors. The fog rolling off the water is real.
