Carson reminds us that Team Adam and Team Cee Lo were up last night and that three from each team will be saved by the public vote than the remaining three will sing for their lives and the coaches will pick one.
We get a recap of last night.
Performance: Jessie J performs her single "Domino" with Team Christina on back up vocals. She's a judge on "The Voice" in the U.K.
Saved on Team Adam: Mathai, Tony Lucca, and Pip.
So Katrina Parker, Kim Yarbrough, and Karla Davis have to sing for their lives.
Saved on Team Cee Lo: Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers, and James Massone
So Tony Vincent, Cheesa, and Erin Martin have to sing for their lives.
Up first for Team Adam is Kim Yarbrough. She sings "Spotlight" by Jennifer Hudson. She is strong but very still and hits a rough patch in the middle but eventually recovers.
Up next is Karla Davis who sings "I Can't Make You Love Me," by Bonnie Raitt. (These are weird choices so far, "I don't like living in your spotlight"? "I can't make you love me if you don't"? Do they want to stay?). It's okay but she's hitting some bum notes, even her family looks a little nervous. She recovers nicely but she's clearly very nervous.
And finally from Team Adam is Katrina Parker who sings "Don't Speak" by No Doubt. She looks even more Adele-esque tonight. (And again "I can't believe this could be the end"? Prophetic, perhaps?) She sounds good. She's not bringing a ton of energy to this.
Blake, Christina, and Cee Lo all say they would save Katrina. Adam agrees and picks Katrina.
Now it's time for the Team Cee Lo performances
Up first is Tony Vincent who sings "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Eurythmics. He's back in creepy mode. This is not the best song to showcase range but he sounds fine.
Next is Cheesa who sings "All By Myself," by Eric Carmen. The verse is low but sturdy enough and the chorus is fine if a little growly. She clearly really wants it though and she's pouring on the energy.
And finally Erin Martin sings "Your Song," by Elton John. She hitches, hiccups, and girlishly trills her way through it as is her style.
Adam, Blake, and Christina would all save Cheesa. Cee Lo agrees and picks Cheesa.
