Skyy 2 Review - An ode to Pat & Pran

I can never get over the Bad Buddy series. I have seen a lot of Gay drama and Bad Buddy series was a gem. I immediately fell in love with Pat and Pran and cried with them in emotional scenes, this became very close to me.

I was looking at behind the scene video of Pat and Pran and saw that they are also in Our Skyy 2, my heart jumped with joy and I couldn't resist to watch this series of being a PatPran fan myself. I didn't want anything of any other pairs in the series, no offence, but I just wanted to soak into the Pat and Pran being in love again.

I skipped all the way to last 3 episodes and boy was it a sweet cup cake. I was hoping that Pran and Pat will make it to the bed and share a light selfless moment with each other. But all I saw was a PG-12 version of Pat and Pran, nothing more. I was kinda disappointed that they did not show the love scenes of Pat and Pran and it just kept me saddened, with asking each other scores.

I love the cast, I love their chemistry and not sure if they had an issue off screen, it was quite evident that it was a pain to just watch them kiss without emotions in this series. Pat was all ready and looks like Pran was the one who did not give in. Pat looks way too skinner than the Bad Buddy series. It was a good story but nonetheless it was a clean show, a clean family show.

I am over it, but still a huge fan of the PatPran combo, will always be!! Love y'all!

Dear P' Nopharnach Chaiwimhon, I didn't want to give it a full rating coz I am annoyed with you, reason for which I shall explain as follows. Yet i didn't want my personal feelings to affect the rating of a prestigious project from GMMTV roping in a dozen people, involving multiple fandoms. I don't mean to be disrespectful in writing the following.

Firstly, i am a Patpran fan. I am disappointed with their part in the series. Every other CP had a couple of episodes screen time for themselves including an Ost they featured together. Explain why 'PatPran' are not worth it? Secondly, I am not against the cross universe concept but it was all about 'PhuphaTian'. I am happy for their fandom but i didn't get my meal. You should have served us sumptuously for one last time😭.... I am just a helpless fan who lives feeding upon their interactions. I content myself with their little loving gestures. This was our last chance to witness them together on screen as a Cp. I understand both Ohm and Nanon are competent and ambitious. They wouldn't choose to work together, if given a choice. Ohm has been officially removed as a presenter hence they will not have events. The only movie they worked together has completed all its possible promotions. Now tell me what reasons do they have to come together in front of the fandom? Isn't our fandom crushed to dust now? 😭 It is unfair to demand fanservice which they superficially provide while their inner definitely refrains. You robbed us of the love we would otherwise get...... Thirdly, i understand that ATOTS is very precious to you on the directorial journey. Tell me, is 'Patpran' so insignificant to you? Is it that you couldn't script anything for them anymore? I was told that you are the best of directors at GMMTV. Why was there so much dallying in each episode when you are extremely particular of every trivial detail in frames that you present? I have not seen any thing meaning less in your dramas ever. What was the point of the four episodes? At least 'Phuphatian' resolved their issue and even gave their fandom an Easter egg at the end. What about my 'PatPran'? Who wanted to watch Ohm-Earth and Mix-Non interactions?....😭 Fifth, did you realize that every other CP in the agency (for that matter the whole Bl industry) have had their bed scenes (you know exactly what I mean) Where is my 'PatPran' scene? They just keep asking "how much score will you give?" I have never seen what they are scoring each other for, not even once. 'Pran' is a good man. If it were some one else, they would have left 'Pat' out of sex*al fr*stration. When other fandoms boast of their collection, I have nothing to brag about🤧 Don't tell me Ohm and Nanon are shy.

Sixth, a certain lines from the script hurt me a lot. Pran: "who ever has more sponsors is the worthy one" We know Ohm has been facing issues regarding sponsorship. So Why?

Pran: "you badmouth me in front of ur drunk friends and apologize in private. Do you think I will accept it?" The first thing that flashed in front of me was the MAYA awards night. A heart wrenching thought crept in, maybe everything they said on the stage of Thailand FM was orchestrated. Either someone told them to patch up in front of the public eye or they decided to mend things by themselves, but it was a show nevertheless. 😭 Pat: "i guess there is no other way" before curtains fall on stage 😭.... Is there a way to erase them from my heart? After a tiring day of work in this cruel world, it is them who puts a smile on me. I worked overtime to buy their merch. I wake up to 'Our song' and sleep looking at their videos. Why do i deserve this torture? If they weren't going to stay, they shouldn't have made BBS at all 🤧 It's not over.... Pat's line hurt me the most, "look at him now. Without me he is nothing. How long do i have to carry him?" Drunk people don't lie. Whatever he said was exactly what he felt. I understand that this is the correct character sketch of 'PatPran' as in the book. The ones in BBS are the sugar coated versions. Therefore i couldn't handle it. Their eyes were not the same, they are not even comfortable laying hands on each other? I guess I dived recklessly into this fandom. I was better off when i hadn't watched this series at all. I would like to 'Raikantopeni' all the newcomers into OhmNon fandom. Don't take the disclaimer to P'Aoff 's dramas leniently. They can devastate you emotionally before you can diagnose.
