The story is great and never confusing and the cinematatography is so beautiful and rich in colours and the ending is thriling and suspensfull. I havent seen any other kannada films this year but this film certainly makes me want to see more of then. I can talk about this movie all day. I love action movies and this is easily one of the best ones I've seen this year. Apart from entertainment, it also provides lessons on how to make action movies, efficiently. One thing to talk about is the plot. It is superficially heavy this time, in fact the heaviest out of all the series. Chandan and ashwin great cast.

This movie was pretty good overall. Intense with some solid, hard-hitting action scenes. The story was very predictable but still enjoyable. Start to finish suspense thriller. Suspense that takes you in a twisted situation. Decent enough with a few gripping action scenes to have kept my interest for a couple of hours but a bit thin on plot.
Worth watching but unlikely to stand out in the crime movie genre. The plus side to the story was that it was a simple, yet entertaining crime story, with an intriguing first set to get everyone hooked. There were a few scenes that were dialogue heavy, and it got a little dry at points.

Just your regular, average thriller flick with one obvious plot "twist", if you can even call it that. Good action scenes though, watch it if there's nothing else you can think of and you wanna kill a couple hours. This film was clearly a one man show, with Ashwin hassan successfully holding the viewer's attention throughout the story with his general likeability and admirable moral standards. Overall, even though it likely won't stay with you for very long, the film may be just the right amount of laidback popcorn entertainment for the casual viewer with some time to kill. Happy to watch in theatre.

All actors performed nicely, Chandan raj and Ashwin Hassan are one of the best. Movie is Fantastic. I don't want to reveal much, but you need to watch this to make your own judgement. You're either gonna think there's a lot going on in the movie and dislike it, OR you're going be very pleasantly surprised with the message. You might have your own reservations on the HOW, but will welcome the WHAT that the movie is trying to convey.
Overall, I think the story did try too hard to throw you off (and...it worked...?) but I guess I'll give it a pass. Surely worth a watch! Must watch. Surely worth a watch! Must watch.

Really Enjoyed The Film it it is the best Thugs of ramaghada Film had stakes also incredible performances around as well not to mention it was exciting and sleek as well being as Great film. Character development is rarely the focus of action movies. They made some interesting choices here and one of them was the inclusion of villain character. This is a very rare example when Kannada films are all of a very high quality in a row and grown bigger and get better as old wine. The good: Wow. The music, the stunts, the actors, the cities and landscapes. Everything put together amazingly well. And an ending scene that you will never forget.
Just enjoy the movie !!

Screenplay is not like any another movie with different plot and in fact the climax also do excites much as we havent seen any movie of the same plot with similar execution and still the movie is quite impressive due to it's some great action and great performance. This movie can be watched. And that's the merit of everyone in making this movie : whit such a small budget , a such a really good movie . Not perfect , but not bad at all . Overall this was a pretty good action thriller. While the storyline was a bit simplistic and commercial aspects, the execution was top notch. Ashwin hassan played the part of hardened cop really well, and the supporting characters held their own. The storyline had good flow and kept up a good pace throughout. Enjoyable and worth the time to watch. Anyway. It's a good popcorn eating action movie. Mahalakshmi annapoorna and sharmila is also great. Although the start of the crime takes place within a fair amount of time, followed up by awesome fight sequences and car chases, the first 15 minutes definitely take time to introduce us to the story.
Director Karthik Maralabhavi did his best in direction.

A run of the Crime thriller which doesn't really do anything new, but is still good and entertaining to watch. Not as tense as I was expecting as it focuses on the drama and the pensive stances of the lead, but the acting's good (although the characters are rather cliché) and the action and overall style is realistic and gritty. It has been long time since we seen a realistic action movie with great actions scenes. Overall, in time, history will never forget this effort. Well written script, good actors, surprising turning Point, and nice ending. Director Karthik Maralabhavi did his best in direction.

It's the sort of story you can see coming from a mile away, but it is fast paced and pretty relentless in the telling of it, making it entertaining and very watchable. Lots of violence and chase scenes, action fans will appreciate it. Loved the time limit placed on the characters, Ashwin and Chandan is great. Must watch..Nevertheless it is engaging throughout and no matter how hard you try to find the twist you will end up getting surprised like never before ! Chandan Raj acting is the backbone of the movie. Superb slow pace engaging movie with much needed social message...Enough twists are revealed at the regular intervals and the script keeps the viewers glue to the screen... The climax twist is ultimate and the message is most welcome...Despite its many narrative flaws, Thugs of Ramaghada ends up being an impactful watch because of the social message that it carries and ultimately portrays with nuance and subtletyy.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

And I think this will be the first movie of Kannada without any social message but frankly I just love the movie- it was totally roller coster ride, full on thriller and mix of perfect action.
No unnecessary love angle, No Drama and No Boring unwanted songs......It's perfect action movie of intelligently presented Action Hero..!!
Chandan Raj acting was awsome as always and combination of Chandan Raj and Ashwin was made it more entertaining and interesting.
Must watch, you will not regreat your decision for sure.

Mind free and light good movie. Please watch it. Its an amazing movie. Some logical errors are there but that is turned into magic. Its an amazing movie. Will put it simply, the storyline is quite average but all the extra stuff in the movie (the Story, action, twists) make it a movie worth watching. Not a min. Goes by in the entire movie which isnt exhilarating, every moment of the movie is pure excitement. Great job by Chandan Raj and even greater job by his co actor Ashwin Hassan. Also one of the finest and action packed movie ever created. A feel of refreshing movie after a long list of never ending flops by the kannada industry. Cheers to both the actors and directors for creating nothing short of a masterpiece worth watching. Screenplay, Actions are Good.

Director Karthik Maralabhavi with good selection of script, the movie is really engaging and Ashwin and chandan have just done a great job here, the script is really tight pacy and keep you on the edge of the seat with crime scenes!
The actions scenes are worth appreciating, they have been choreographed really well, and the stunts performed are really amazing, kudos to the background score as well it compliments the action scenes and the pace of the film.
Not sure why this is not getting the response it should but I must say it is worth watching and it is much better than the actions films with nonsense stories which are getting hit these days.

Usual story with an unexpected and mind blowing screenplay. Do watch this or dont repent later. Keeps you engaged throughout, Very watchable but equally predictable, sadly. There are also surprise in terms of fresh cast. I'm seeing that there are no good box office collection for this film This film definitely needs more audience attention. I had gone to watch this film with very low expectations but Ashwin Hassan as always stands out. The film is perfect example of entertainment and is a must watch for the audiences who want to laugh and thrill at same time. Other actors of the film are also great and don't disappoint. Ashwin Hassan showed that he can single handedly entertain the audience and he doesn't need a female co-star. The movie was definitely engaging, Must watch.

Well, Ashwin hassan makes it much better than that! He really was one heck of an actor! And he make his character, Chandan raj, really smoke on the screen! I'd have loved to see a sequel with this character. The directing was on point, the casting great, and the run-time and pacing perfect. I enjoyed it more than I thought. I don't think there are many things that will be open or rather not openly foreseeable for most of the viewers. I did have one character reveal that I did not think about, but other than that ... But as it is, this movie works as a thriller, even when you know what's up. Good one.

This movie is the best Kannada movie with original screenplay in last 2 years. Lead Actor brought back my faith in action movies. Kudos to Director too for keeping the audience engaged throughout the movie with some kind of dark touch. Audience are gonna love this action avatar as it is a breath of fresh air for the otherwise social message man. This movie is an action and crime riot that stays soooo true to its name. This storyline is nice, so is the idea. Chandan Raj did his role well. Very Impressive in his very first movie. Overall a great package that us as an audience would love to watch.
I would really suggest you to just pull any of your loved one and go watch this movie and you will be more than pleased after watching it. Entertainment Guaranteed. The chemistry between the lead pair is good nothing over the top. Aravind character is extremely sweet and lovable.
Well generally I don't go to cinema to watch kannada movie but I don't know why I really wanted to watch this one...

Whenever an action movie is made in India, I think of a couple of check boxes for it to be a good movie :
An interesting premise -Charismatic Lead -Compelling antagonist -Solid Music -Killer BGM -Witty Dialogues -Good Action Sequences -Third Act which isn't dragged out -An engaging screenplay Thugs of Ramaghada has it all.
It's very very rare for a Kannada Action movie which is set abroad, to check all the boxes and yet end up being a fun watch.
Chandan Raj is excellent as the leading man as he charms his way through the action and kick ass dialogues. Ashwin Hassan is fantastic as the Co-Actor, and their chemistry basically seals the deal for this movie.

Direction is excellent, keeping the film constantly moving and mobile, resulting in a great pace. The shootouts are well filmed and thrilling. The music by Vivek chakravarthy is fantastic. Nice Friday night flick! Overall, a good, thrilling movie. Grabs your attention from the word go and doesn't let go. Ashwin hassan and chandan raj on their point. First and foremost, great work. Fihtsand bgm is superb. Chandan Raj is Superb.
The movie has done great work in all its technical departments especially the sound design of the movie was extraordinary they didn't even miss a minuscule detail. The first half of the movie moves at a medium pace and builds up the characters and encloses us to that area by its visuals and by the end of the first half the movie switches to a drama mood with some good moments of family and suspense.
Overall this movie should be watched in the theatre because the technicality of the movie demands it. Moreover, Thugs of Ramaghada deserves it.
