I caught this short film at the Festival des Film du Monde in Montréal in August and I was really taken aback. This is a simple story that sheds some light on people struggling with identity. I don't want to give too much away but the main character, Agnes, meets up with an old flame after her husband dies and she struggles with her feelings.
Peggy Dunne does a great job as Agnes and the rest of the small cast performs well. It's paced pretty well and has some really good directing and some excellent cinematography. Nicholas Campbell does a solid job as writer and director and the overall quality of this film is second to none.
This is one of those short films that makes you wish it was a full length feature film. I left wanting more.
I highly recommend you see this film.
