The acting is just marvelous. Being able to play these deplorable monsters must be a nightmare. Everyone is so good at it. I've always been haunted by the atrocities perpetrated at the old asylums, anyway, and seeing this cast at this creaky old building bring it to life; yikes.

Out of respect to the actors alone.

This entire series is great but the actors are truly what makes this episode shine. I have Utmost respect to the actors for portraying such abominable people with skill and grace. Especially to Zachary Quinto in this episode for the scene he undertakes with such dignity given the subject matter and the increased impact it must have had given his personal connection.

(S2. E4) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 2 Episode 4 ''I Am Anne Frank: Part 1''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 8.6/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. I still cant believe that Dr. Arden cut off the legs of this woman, he is disturbing. Dr. Arden was a nazi doctor? Interesting. Does this doctor really think that he can cure Lana's homosexuality? Nobody seems to believe sister Jude about Dr. Arden. Monsignor Howard seems to be working with Dr. Arden. Could this woman really be Anne Frank? Overall this episode was good, my rating is 8.6/10.

Nazi?!

This episode begins with Jude, she speaks with a new patient named Anne Frank. Kit kisses Grace, they have sex in the kitchen. We see how Grace killed her father and stepmother. It's clear that Arden is a Nazi. Anne shot Arden in his leg. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 2, i didn't expected a Nazi story on this series. Nice and exciting events this episode!

I give it an 8 due to acting and horror content only

Of not for the horror and high level of acting, this episode would be much lower, the inclusion of nazibstuff and a woman that's clearly not Anne frank was a waste of a sub plot for a character that was only in two episodes , adding the whole Anne frank story was tasteless and made zero sense

A new patient comes to the Asylum and Jude cannot get through to her. In Arden's lab he gives Shelley something that will make her live forever legless. Kit comes back from Dr. Arden who was trying to find the weird thing that came from his neck. We see some back story to Grace and how she ended up in the Asylum. Her parents were killed by a man and no one believed her. Dr. Thredson calls Lana into her office talking about that night and how she does not belong in the Asylum. He tells her she has a week to try and get out if he helps her. Lana try's to help the new inmate and when she sees Dr. Arden she calls him a Nazi. She announce she is Anne Frank. Jude interviews Anne Frank about if she is the real one. Dr. Thredson tells Kit he has two opinions either die outside the asylum or spend his life in the asylum. Anne Frank tells about how she met Dr. Arden at Auschwitz. Dr. Thredson tells Kit what he did to all three women. While getting her medication Lana thinks about the story she could right after she leaves. Lana finally decides to get the help of Thredson to leave with the therapy. When Grace walks in on Kit banging on the dough really loud the two end up having sex on the table. Jude tells the Kit and Grace they will be punished by Solitary. Arden is being accused of rough housing a prostitute. The word Nazi is brought up and Jude becomes suspicious. Thredson starts his therapy with Lanatrying to make her repelled by women. Thredson starts more of his therapy making Lana look at a naked man and commenting on it. He then asks her while looking at him to touch herself. The therapy does not work for Lana so Thredson has to try something different. The Monsignor comes to the Asylum and Jude tells her about her worries of Arden. He then says it might be her drinking that may have affected her. Monsignor then calls Arden and it seems the two are working together. Jude talks to her mother Superior about her problems lately. The mother tells Jude to go on her own suspicions and not just listen to her Monsignor. Grace then tells Kit the truth about her killing her parents. In then turns out the real story was her father hurt her making her kill everyone in her family. Thredson tells Lana she will come with him when she leaves the hell hole. Arden takes Anne into the lab where she pulls a gun on him. When a door in opened Shelley is reveled almost turning into a beast like the others asking to be killed.

This season is going great, all great episodes. A new patient arrives at the asylum saying that she is Anne Frank, and she also recognizes Dr. Arthur saying that she is a Nazi and Jude investigates. Lana continues her therapy with Dr. Trendson. Grace's story is excellent and very terrifying, I didn't expect that. Lana Conversion Therapy is one of the best from the episode and a great scene. Apparently wool will manage to escape. Why the monsignor cares for Dr. Arthur, who are hiding. Anne Frank's plot looks interesting and I love the inclusion of Nazism with Arden and the ending with Shelly is brutal.
