General Patrick Gordon is shown being killed by Swedish troops prior to the Battle of Narva in 1700. In reality, Gordon had died a year earlier, peacefully and in bed. Peter was with him when he died.
Peter and Charles XII never met, even to discuss peace terms.
The Battle of Poltava is portrayed as being a few months after the Battle of Narva. Poltava was actually fought in 1709, almost nine years later.
