Paul is back with a new series from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Paul helps a shy rottweiler who struggles to bond with people. He also meets a lovable spaniel cross puppy with a bad case of mites and family of rabbits left at a bus stop.
This time Paul meets an energetic Staffie cross who needs calming down in kennels. He also falls in love with a rare West African dog called an Azawakh, and coaxes an overbred bulldog to come out of its shell.
Paul trains a lively beagle cross pup, keeps a Bichon company, helps a elderly Staffie that was left tied to the gates and gets caught up in an outbreak of parvovirus which all the Battersea staff battle to contain.
Paul meets a pair of shih tzus from a puppy farm that need to learn all about domestic life, an American bulldog heartbroken to leave her owner. He meets a stray that has been living at Battersea for two years.
Paul meets more dogs struggling to find a home, including a golden retriever with an incontinence problem and a border collie with a bad hip. He also meets a tiny pregnant mongrel and a elderly Patterdale who just needs some company.
At Battersea, Paul helps a lonely beagle whose Christmas wish is to find a new friend, a cross breed with a short attention span and comforts a Patterdale Terrier cross who needs a serious operation.
