Excellent documentary

This documentary is well-produced and sensitive. It is not sensationalised. There are few special effects. It just lets the interviewees tell their story. I really hope the participants weren't traumatised by re-telling their incredible stories (all of them were mind blowing) of how they escaped from right where a jet plane entered the South Tower of the World Trade Center. I guess there is a lot they don't say about what they witnessed. The man who left behind certain death on the upper floors by running down three stories of burning stairwell. The man who squeezed into the last elevator out of the building that plunged rapidly for many stories before the emergency brakes kicked in, who then had to escape from the elevator being on fire, walking over bodies. The man who stopped to help a stranger to get up and over some seemingly impossible rubble, and walked with him down the stairs to freedom. The man who hid under the only desk on his floor not to be destroyed by the jet colliding with the building. They are not happy stories. All subjects are profoundly affected by how so many of their workmates and friends died. I hope telling their story helped them.
