Lifeless direction

Warning: Spoilers
COLD BLOOD is a typical low-rent indie thriller with little in the way of thrills or incident to see it through. The protagonist gets out of prison and heads off to a farmhouse for a reunion of sorts between friends and colleagues, but things quickly spiral out of control and violent chaos ensues. Despite some brutal elements in the story this is a dullish picture with limited acting talent displayed throughout and poor, lifeless direction.

Cool blood

Totally enjoyed this movie! Set in the beautiful Cypriot outback Cold Blood brings you drugs, crime, comedy, action, horror and thriller all in one. This film starts off feeling like a drama but then hits Cyprus and turns into a strong revenge movie with a wicked unexpected twist. The performance in the film is strong and although you see blood and limbs being cut, it's done in a cleaver way that is still viewable for the squeamish! The director has created a film that makes it feel as though you are watching a detailed killing when really you see very little. It's one tense ride for both Judson and Lilly (Jason and Anna in the film). The ending is also brilliant set in the ruins of a derelict building in the mountains with a final scene taking place on the roof top in the mountains. You can get this in iTunes and Amazon.
