- Nancy reads in bed but is disrupted by a loud crash. Downstairs, Doug explains it's the new Russian neighbors. The guy is some real "Eastern Promises" type with tattoos for each person he killed. They're cutting down all the trees on their property. Nancy is bothered by the fact Stevie is glued to the TV. In the kitchen, Jill is couponing like a fiend because they have no money. She's manic and off and Nancy begs her to go back to screwing Andy.
The twins tell Nancy that someone named Kiku called. Nancy decides to sign Stevie up for soccer.
Shane talks to Andy about the cadet he likes. Andy tells him to look for the signs that she's into him, including that she tilts her pelvis in his direction. "We're all just animals, Shane, red in tooth and claw," he says.
Shane hears noise out front and looks out to see the Russians wood chipping. Outside, Silas says good-bye to RJ his weed buddy. Andy suggests a double date, but he can't go because he and Jill are split. Shane asks how his aunt is in the sack. "You are so broken," Andy tells him.

Nancy takes Stevie down to sign him up for rec soccer, but Gordon the pimple-faced coach explains she'd have to pay a kickback. Nancy assesses the towheaded players and concludes it's a "whites only" league. She snaps photos of the kids and threatens to go to the paper. Stevie's on the team.
Shane and Angela go through a paintball course shooting perps. He asks her out on a date.
Andy arrives at the darkened roller rink and is confused. Then the lights come on and the hot blonde ref skates up naked. Andy marvels at his good fortune and decides it's karma, 50 lives ago he must have been the fecal molecule of a maggot. He works his way up the evolutionary chain, including, dog, monkey and child sex slave, and he was good and patient and humble in all his lives and is now repeating the rewards. If it's not karma or good looks, then he figures it must be God, and that would cause him to rethink entirely too many things. She announces that if he can catch her, he can have sex with her. He goes to get his skates.
At the soccer practice, Nancy listens to the soccer dads, who think he must be the house keeper's kid. After Steve scores easily, Gordon puts him in goal because he's making the other kids look bad. They complain about his natural genetic advantage because "they" are born "down there" kicking soccer balls. Nancy pulls him aside and on the next play, Stevie takes the ball from goal and scores. Nancy is forced to agree to a kickback when one of the dad's turns out to be the owner of the paper.
Silas tells RJ about signing up for a weed forum, but RJ thinks they're artisans and should keep it to themselves. Silas mentions Shane teasing him about being gay for hanging out with RJ. RJ offers that every guy should try it at some point. He's serious, offering to service Silas because it's "the friendly thing to do." Silas makes excuses and leaves quickly.
At the roller rink, the ref offers that she took her clothes off for Andy because of how much he talks about the women in his life. "Also, my girlfriend is visiting her folks and my Tivo is out of 'Law & Order'," she says.
Nancy visits Kiku and finds her well into a bottle of wine. The three brothers come out of the bedroom in their skivvies. Kiku mentions that it's her dad's 60th birthday and she was in a bad place. One of them begs Nancy to take him with her. She tells Kiku she wants out of the business and to bring her whatever she figures her half is worth.
Shane and Angela join Detective Ouillette and his girlfriend on their "double date" -- watching as the oldsters pound beers and complain. He veers awkwardly into racial territory telling Angela to cool the Obama stuff. Shane winces.
Andy comes home from the rink to find Jill waiting in his room. She tells him of her couponing exploits. "I think I've been trying to fill a hole in my heart with extraordinary savings. I miss you," she says.
She kisses him and starts to unzip then notices marks. He freely says that he was having sex at the roller rink and one of her piercings caught. He points out she broke up with him and the sex was in the past, even if it was only three hours ago. She leaves, annoyed.
Cut to Jill complaining about Andy over a couch. Doug pops up from behind her and she commands him to keep going.
Kiku brings Nancy a bag and announces she wants out, too. But there are no profits, Doug skimmed them or they went back into the business. She leaves Nancy bricks of weed.
Out on the fire escape, Shane and Angela escape their horrible evening, listening to their hosts have sex inside. She likes him.
Nancy's neighbor, rabbi David Bloom, comes down and busts her in his pool. He brought her a towel. She tries to kiss him, but he says he's a rabbi and pulls away. She says she feels new each time she swims in his pool. She wants to really start over and stop making the same choices.
Silas goes into his grow house to find it empty. He assumes it's Shane, but he just got home from his date.
In the hall, Andy sees Jill come out of Doug's room and calls him a "codebreaker."
Silas storms into RJ's store. He has a black eye and says his parents have been drugging him since he was 13 but he's not doing it anymore. He rhapsodizes about the plants picking you, but says Silas doesn't appreciate that.
At home, Nancy takes her giant bag of weed to the wood chipper and tosses it in, followed by her cane. She walks away, making new choices.
