Good film about charismatic gospel church in Baixada Fluminense (precisely in São João de Meriti), poor region near Rio de Janeiro. It is also about the finding of a path towards becoming free of suffering. It is about life an death, about lie and faith, about staging and hard-living. Leandra Leal does a great job as the pregnant widow, but I cannot help but highlight that what João Michel does while playing the role of the reverend is no less than outstanding.
