When Eliza examines the nameplate that she had made for outside her office, it states that her office is on the second floor. Since this series is set in London, it should read first floor. This is no doubt due to the series being a UK/US production.
Towards the end of the episode, Martin Crabtree pleads, 'I want to meet my daughter.' in the late1800's there was no way to tell the sex of a child before birth.
