Sex & Nudity

- In story mode, in one of the scenes we can see Cerabella in a revealing black suit with bunny ears, she was sitting on a man, probably this is the most explicit scene in the entire video game.
- In female characters, during attacks with lily's feet or other actions, you can clearly see panties.
- Valentine and Cerebella have copious amounts of cleavage showing. It is also occasionally implied that Valentine uses her bosom to hide weapons.
- Valentine's victory pose consists of her bending over, putting a thermometer between her breasts, and breaking the tip off of the thermometer.
- There's some occasional innuendo during cutscenes, like a man grabbing Filia's bottom before he's interrupted, and Parasoul's younger sister poking her in the breast to annoy her.
- In the 2nd Encore edition, there is a gallery mode that allows players to view stills from the story as well as other artwork that can be mildly suggestive. Still no explicit nudity.
Violence & Gore

- Double is a massive monster that can turn into anything, during her idle bubbles of blood come out
- At one point in the story of the Big Band being beaten, we briefly see his body and a little blood looks sad but not particularly cruel.
- Most of the violence is mild, although Painwheel and Ms. Fortune have some pretty bloody attacks.
- Most attacks in the game result in a loud smacking noise and a bright light to indicate a hit. The fighting can also get fairly intense when players use powerful combo moves.
- Ms. Fortune is able to survive being dismembered, so she often uses her own head as a projectile in a fight. She can also extend her limbs for attacks, which usually causes some muscle tissue to be visible. A lot of her attacks can also result in some light blood splatter. One of her attacks consists of her wrapping the opponent in a giant ball of yarn made of her own muscle fibers.
- Painwheel appears to have large nails sticking out of her. She can force these nails out of her skin to use for attacks. This also often has some light blood splatter.
- Valentine can perform a special move where she drops the opponent behind medical room dividers. After a quick cutscene, she is standing outside the dividers which are now covered in blood. This implies some brutality, but nothing graphic is shown.
- Eliza uses her own blood for various attacks. Her skeleton is possessed by an Egyptian god and can pop out of her to attack.
- Beowulf can use a monster's severed arm in some of his attacks.
Profanity

- None spoken, but there is some infrequent mild swearing during the game's cutscenes in the form of text (damn, bastard, etc.).
- The 2nd Encore edition of the game adds full voiceovers for all characters in the game's story mode, so the above mentioned swearing will be spoken as well as be written on screen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Painwheel and Double are very bizarre and disturbing characters, and may frighten younger players.
- The game has some very dark story elements that be off-putting for younger players.
