- Reverend Calvin, a feral wolf, reports a fortune stolen from church funds and the parishioner who did the accounts, a feral sheep like most of his flock, missing. The man is later found cut-up in the grinder of his employer's factory, but has no motive or suspicious record. Undercover as a 'homeless' seeking church shelter, Monroe discovers reverend Calvin, whose previous Southern parish was similarly robbed presumably by a parishioner, has an affair with his sheep church secretary, who transferred with him, but is up for a rude surprise too.—KGF Vissers
- When a local Reverend reports that his church has been robbed, Nick quickly learns that it's a Wesen church, and enlists Monroe to check for any suspicious activity regarding the shepherd's flock. Meanwhile, Nick and Juliette continue to figure out the rules of their relationship as a dangerous opponent lurks in the shadows with his sights on Nick.—NBC Publicity
- Nick arrives at a bar after a long day at work and meets Bud, who apologies for accidentally telling Juliette that Nick is a "Grimm." Of course, Juliette doesn't understand what that means given her Nick-centric amnesia. While the friends talk, a dark figure watches Nick closely from the bar.
Elsewhere, a middle aged office worker leaves the job late and is confronted by a figure with glowing red eyes. The office worker briefly morphs into a lamb-like creature before being overtaken by the stranger. We then see the lamb-man hanging from a crane before being dropped into a wood grinder. Ouch. The next day, Nick and Hank arrive at police HQ and meet a local reverend, Calvin, who reports missing money from the church. Turns out the funds were transferred from the lap top of a church member, Norman, who also happens to volunteer to work as the congregation's accountant.
Nick and Hank heads the accountant's workplace and interview his coworker, who describes Norman as quiet and a real straight shooter. The interview is interrupted with terrible news: Norman's mangled body has been found in the wood grinder outside. Returning to the office, Nick discovers that there was a similar case of money going missing from a church five years prior -- and Calvin was the reverend there, too. Coincidence? "Doubtful," Hank says.
So the detectives head out to the church to visit Calvin. Nick immediately notices that all the congregation are lamb-like creatures. Reverend Calvin, on the other hand, appears to be a wolf. Turns out Calvin recognizes Nick as a Grimm. "I have learned to accept all of God's creatures," says Calvin, who refers to the past missing money incident as a coincidence. Calvin's assistant, Meagan, then confirms Calvin's alibi for the night Norman was killed. The smooth talking preacher just smiles. Nick doesn't trust him at all.
Nick and Hank then visit Monroe, who is of the same creature persuasion as the reverend. The detectives suggest that Monroe go undercover to infiltrate the church and learn more about Calvin. So Monroe heads to the church and instantly puts the congregation on edge. "I don't have anywhere else to turn," Monroe explains. "Guys like me were shunned at most religious organizations. I thought this place might be different." He is welcomed by a sympathetic Calvin.
Later that night, Monroe witnesses Calvin pulling Meagan close and kissing her. He calls Nick and Hank and reports the interesting news. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure breaks into Nick's house and begins snooping around. He manages to duck out when Juliette returns home. Later, Meagan is brought in for questioning at police HQ. She admits that she was a member of the last church that Calvin left after it lost all its money. Turns out she was married to the man who was accused of stealing the money and disappeared.
"I blame myself," says Meagan, who also admits she was having an affair with Calvin at the time. Megan then begins to cry and denies having anything to do with the missing money or Norman's death. She is very convincing. Later, Meagan reveals herself to be a very good actor. At home with Calvin, she reveals herself to be scheming right alongside the reverend to dupe churches and abscond with the money. Calvin lays out a plan to kill somebody, plant Norman's lap top on the body, and then get away scott free. Meagan smiles.
Later that night, Nick heads to the trailer and is attacked by the mysterious stranger who broke into his house. A furious fight ensues before Nick gets the upper hand and knocks the beast out cold. In the stranger's pocket is a crude drawing of Nick's key. The next morning, Juliette apologizes to Nick for not being able to remember. "It's not your fault," Nick tells his former GF. Nick proposes one of them move out, but Juliette thinks they should stick together.
At the church, a young pregnant woman cries. Meagan tries to comfort the young woman, who explains that her baby's father is Reverend Calvin. Meagan is obviously furious -- and storms outside to tell the rest of the congregation that Calvin is evil. "He is the one that killed Norman and stole the church's money!" a scorned Meagan declares. Back at police HQ, Nick and Hank discover that Calvin and Meagan have visited overseas locations where the missing money was wired. They immediately head to the church, where Calvin sits with Monroe. It becomes clear that Monroe is the person that the reverend plans to murder and frame. Just as the two square off to fight, the congregation storms into the reverend's office, demanding answers.
The lambs then charge the reverend wolf, ripping him to pieces. The lamb congregation then turns its anger on Monroe, eventually cornering him in the church. Just then, Nick and Hank enter and save Monroe. The episode ends with Meagan and the young pregnant woman sitting on a beautiful beach and sipping frozen drinks. "The meek do inherit the earth," Meagan quips.
