Ecchi with a decent plot: Complete Series Review

Favorite Episode: Bright future

There was an actual plot with this one which continued until the end of the series in the manga. The highlight of this was the completion of Yami's Violet Evergarden Esque character arc and the reveal of Yami's true power via her darkness ability Some things were poorly done like Celine spawning out of nowhere, Tear spawning almost out of nowhere, the continuation of Haruna's inability fo confess via character interjections etc. And the ending was underwhelming as We don't know if Rito decided to submit to the harem or rejected it. We also waited for 100's of chapters and this dude never even shared a proper kiss with any of the main cast? Cmon. This might be the best ecchi due to the decent plot that was darkness but overall there is high entertainment value in this series for the most part.

At first I thought that the "To Love Ru" series was just another set of generic anime. But then I just put it to the test and watched every episode from first to the most recent. I was very surprised because it was full of emotion and had lots of comedy. Although there were many sexual references and scenes within it, I didn't mind because it was also an important part of the series. The best part about the series is the connections between Rito and the others. The character development in the series is wonderful. Viewers understand each character's problems and pasts. I was able to relate to most of the characters in my own past. I highly recommend this TV show to people who want to connect to it.

I love the graphic designs and anime, the storyline is extremely good and I feel very thriller in the whole web series it's awesome...............

The anime tried to be To Love Ru, but really failed. I don't mind that the story shifted to diffrent charcters, but I do mind that it shifted to the wrong characters. It's called "Darkness", so I expected to find out more about Golden Darkness, and I did, the problem is that side characters just became main charcters. Momo and Nana are not part of the main character Lineup. The relation between Rito, Lala and haruna became irrelevant, which is pretty bad, considering that they were the main reasoning for the story. For some reason the also thought it would be a great idea to make Rito love Momo more than Lala and Haruna, eventhough they really aren't that close as they illustrate it. I think it would have been better if the series had only focused on the side characters instead of the main and side characters making this unfimiliar and weird story lineup. This just isn't a good series anymore and since XEBEC have broken up their won't be an attempt to fix this mess. On the other hand it is sad to see the series fade out likethis. I really do hope someone will buy the licens to the anime and completly reboot it, by fixing the mess these two dark seasons have made.

I love this anime so much I watch all his seasons ^_^ but the sad thing is that the show end in a mysterious episode I want to know what will happen when new season come??

To Love Ru is an anime series based on the manga of the same title written by Saki Hasemi and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki. Produced by Xebec and directed by Takao Kato, the anime aired in Japan between April 4 and September 26, 2008. While the anime uses characters and general themes from the original manga, a large majority of this season was anime-original and did not adapt much material from its source manga.
