- When the internet is rocked by the brutal murder of Cobra Video's owner, Bryan Kocis, all eyes focus on its biggest star Brent Corrigan. Desperate to prove his innocence, Corrigan entices the real killers in this bizarre tale of jealousy, greed and murder in the world of gay porn.—yap films
- Centers on the January 24, 2007 murder of Bryan Kocis (who worked under the name Bryan Phillips), the force behind Cobra Video, arguably the most lucrative boutique producer of gay pornographic films of the time, Cobra specializing in condomless (what is known in the business as bareback, then considered taboo due to AIDS) twink porn i.e. barely legal young men who often look underage. His unrecognizable dead body was discovered in his burnt out house in Dallas Township, PA, only forensic evidence determining that it indeed was him and that he was killed in what can only be described as overkill, meaning that the murder was of a personal nature. Coincidentally, journalists Jim Fraenkel and Garth Bardsley had been working on a documentary on the changing face of the gay porn industry, Cobra and Kocis, and had only recently approached Kocis for his participation in the film, some of their shot footage used for this film. The people who jumped to the top of the suspect list were Sean Paul Lockhart, arguably Cobra's most famous one-time "exclusive" star who worked under the name Brent Corrigan, and his then new producer/lover Grant Roy, as Lockhart/Roy and Kocis were embroiled in legal battles largely stemming from Kocis trademarking the name "Brent Corrigan" thus not allowing Lockhart to use it, the name that made him famous, once he left Kocis and Cobra, and Lockhart/Roy's public response that they were the Cobra Killers. But other business relationships within Kocis and Lockhart/Roy's worlds that come to light complicate the story.—Huggo
