Mercier issues Anna with an ultimatum, she must break off her relationship, to be free for them to continue, he's facing pressure from The Embassy to sever links. People are being taken from Poland with subtlety, by The Germans and Soviets, there are rumblings of fear.
Very much an espionage thriller, I thought this was very, very good. The story is somewhat captivating, and the super acting and strong production values make for a terrific drama.
I still love the subtlety and pacing of it, it's not an all out wartime drama, it's showing the horrors that happened before, how many countries turned a blind eye to what was happening there.
Tennant continues to impress, he is excellent in this.
