Bouncing destiny

When 'Phineas and Ferb' first started to air, Disney Channel was nowhere near as good as it used to be and still isn't. Instead of the likes of the animated Disney shows of the 80s and 90s, most of it was and still is animated shows with childish humour and Disney Channel sitcoms and unfortunately it tended to not be the good ones. This continued throughout the whole of 'Phineas and Ferb's' run to the extent that this became one of the few shows airing on the Channel worth watching.

Both "Delivery of Destiny" and "Let's Bounce" are equally strong in their own way. "Delivery of Destiny" gets the edge as the superior episode, as it was a very successful attempt at something different in having the story told from the point of view of a secondary character rather than any regular. Instead of the typical formula that is extremely well handled on the whole that is seen in "Let's Bounce". Neither are favourites of mine from the show, but both are very highly recommended.

The animation is still wonderfully vibrant with very rich attention to detail, the anti-gravity visuals in "Let's Bounce" look very inventive. The music is dynamic with the action and the theme song is insanely catchy with very clever and quotable lyrics that anybody still in school fishing for how to spend their vacation will relate to. The voice acting is great.

Furthermore, the writing is very funny and intelligent. Once again, the right balance of being easy to understand for children while not being too juvenile for adults is successful. Both stories are entertaining and energy filled without being too manic, "Delivery of Destiny" handling its unique point of view structure from Paul witnessing the usual events beautifully.

Loved the characters in both, Paul being the standout. Candace's subplot in "Let's Bounce" is not as cheesy as it could have been.

Although the Doofenschmirtz subplot in "Let's Bounce" is amusing, it is also rather predictable and not particularly inspired other than the invention.

Concluding, great. 9/10.
