This is a TV show about Jens Spahn, who was the face of corruption during the Covid-19 pandemic as german minister for health, when several billion Euro went into the pockets of party members and friends, eventually paying for his and his husbands 4 milion Euro mansion in Dahlem (press reported even more real estate). As Mr. Spahn is still an active member of parliament and prominent face of the center-right CDU party, this show is really unusual - such shows are mostly done for obituaries and chancellors.
So why and how does this show exist? Well, the production company is tied to press outlets, a TV network and and a well-known foundation, with an own streaming service. This compund builds up and supports politicians, and Jens Spahn was not only a frequent guest to their network shows and other media, but one of the few names talked about as potential successor of Angela Merkel. So this show was started years ago to deliver a very positive biopic about "Chancellor Spahn", to be ready when he gets the job. Huge amounts of selected (and probably sometimes staged) postivie PR shots: the nice, friendly, hard-working etc. Politician, with some not-so-friendly stuff sprinkled on top for credibility.
For most german citizens this show feels like mockery and is a dreadful experience. When the newspapers reported all his real estate deals, and how his "pack" of gay politicans and friends filled their pockets first, his political career went south very fast. This show tries to turn the tide another time - or maybe has been released as "now it doesn't matter anyway": it was not his greed, his incompetence, his nepotism that turned most people away from him. It just was bad luck, and stupid guys that don't want vaccination.
