A New Venue for Unforgettable ***
edwagreen30 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
When the series concluded last spring, it appeared that Carrie and Al had found love again and finally.

Suddenly, they've now been assigned to Manhattan to investigate crimes among the upper echelons of society. In this episode they're dealing with a kidnapping of a young girl. Andrew McCarthy plays the wealthy father of the victim who immediately comes under suspicion.

That spark of romance seems to have gone out with Al seeing the Manhattan move as an excellent opportunity, but Carrie is apprehensive and comes around only at the end.

The supposed surprise participant in the kidnapping can easily be discovered midway through the show.

Jane Curtin continues as the wily medical examiner. She can really get on your nerves at some point.

The rekindling of romance between Al and Carrie will have to start anew.

What happened to finding Rachel's killer?
rpl-2283711 December 2022
The premise of the show was that Carrie developed her amazing memory so she would not forget the sister that was killed. We spent an entire season waiting for Carrie and Al to finally to solve Rachel's murder. Now, with little comment they drop the cold case?! I feel gypped! We lost favorite characters, now you want us to stop caring about the quest? I want to find Rachel's killer! I want a child murderer to be brought to justice! I love the addition of the new coroner, especially since she is so snide with the boss! However, it does not make sense that Carrie just drops her sister's murder. Boo!

This maybe my last episode to watch.

1. I very much enjoyed the first season, but this first episode of the second season may be the last for me because the producers decided to eliminate 4 cast members which I liked. Michael Gaston who played Mike, Kevin Rankin (Roe) the exotically beautiful Daya Vaidya (Nina) and Britt Lower (Tanya the computer tech expert). True, Britt may have not been considered a regular on the show, but I liked her character, I liked the attraction between her and Roe, and Britt is also easy on the eyes. 2. Sure, Al and Carrie will continue to solve crimes, but you can't just dump four characters that I have become fond of and expect me to stay on board. 3. I might watch one or two more episodes of this show before deciding if I will stream any more. There's a small chance that I may continue to watch Unforgettable, but right now I just want to forget it.
