Out of a collection of over 300 articles about Soledad Miranda, only two mention this project. One from 1965 said that she was going to do the film. However, when asked in an 1969 interview what was the biggest trouble of her career, Soledad said, "Task, I would say. After trying twenty days 'The Life of Cole Porter,' I go one good day to record and immediately I found I no longer could." Furthermore, a reputable magazine devoted to Spanish television stated in February 1969 that "Las ratas" was Soledad's debut on TVE. There is a great possibility that Soledad Miranda was not in the project, or perhaps the project was canceled entirely.
Musical version of the Lifetime of Cole Porter, it was filming from Nov. 1964 to Jan. 65 for several weeks. Miss Soledad Miranda WAS in this Production.
