Nicely paced episode, although much of the tension from earlier seasons is gone. The idea of getting home through three "lands" with different challenges first appeared in an episode of Howdy Doody in the 1950s (a sticky land, a bouncy land, etc). And the idea of a magical flying creature responding to YIP YIP is a hat-tip to Avatar, which is on my list of the best film/tv productions of all time (below). Using the evil elf from the mirror prison is OK, and props to the writers for nicely setting up that arc in the earlier seasons. The episode shows the potential the series has for a longer run than originally expected. ((Designated "IMDb Top Reviewer."
