Moving Touching portrait of Adult industry stars
srirammeera19 January 2020
Up close and very personal look at the private lives of three stars from the adult industry - Princess Donna, Lorelei Lee and Isis Love (their industry names). BTW - these three are no longer active or mainstream adult industry performers (as of 2020). The documentary focuses on the private lives and challenges that all three face - up close and personal warts and all - parting the curtains so to speak to give us a humanizing glimpse of those we tend to objectify as porn stars and sex objects. The result is an extremely moving and impactful documentary once you suspend your moral judgement and are able to get past the choices they have made to stake out a legitimate career as adult industry performers which obviously still comes with huge baggage and stigma compared to more mainstream and "regular" careers. Those looking for anything salacious and titillating move on - there is nothing here. Each one of them juggles and struggles their adult industry persona and impact and consequences with their personal and family life and struggles - with parents, children, spouses etc

However there is not much light or insight into the workings of the adult industry and its overall showbiz aspects or other performers. It keeps and maintains till the end a strict narrow focus on the personal life of the three principals. It runs for about an hour.

Moving touching and worth watching if you are a consumer or fan of the Adult Industry and its stars
