Life in Spain is a story of shared dreams and parallel cultures. In the Spanish cities of Cartagena, Eibar and Valencia we meet three Japanese footballers: the veteran Shinji Okazaki, Premier League champion with Leicester; Eibar's Honoka Yonei, who headed to Europe as a 16-year-old to pursue a career in football; and the youngster Wadi Suzuki, a member of Valencia's renowned youth team. The culture clashes are piled one on top of another as the players contend with a foreign language, different customs, strange food and even a new style of football.
