- TriviaAlthough this episode pokes gentle fun at Margaret Thatcher, with Steve Nallon impersonating her, James Whale was a big fan of hers in real life. In his 2007 autobiography "Almost A Celebrity" he detailed how he was asked to meet her when she was around 80, and claimed:
"[...] I happen to think that Margaret Thatcher did more for this country than any prime minister for about fifty years, so I readily agreed. I think we have a lot to thank Mrs Thatcher for. I was keen to meet her. Wouldn't anyone be keen to meet a woman who will go down in history?"
- GoofsThis edition on superstitions is introduced by James Whale as being fitting as it's "Friday the 13th".
Although a "Friday night" series, the post-midnight timeslot meant that it was technically Saturday morning, a fact that is reflected in the entry's broadcast date.
