The first scene in this incredibly powerful short is so powerful it makes me feel like jumping up and down like these teenagers and pouring out my heart to the world. It portrays the powerfully sensitive and empathetic nature of mankind. It shows us that love is what we live for. Love is what we need.
It is mostly clear that these teenagers are running on the pure and free waves of energy brought on by the profound powers of the drug, Ecstasy. This scene is so powerful that it transcends the need for sound. The images tell all - an anxious girl unable to comprehend the changes she is experiencing until the drug overwhelms her and she gets blown away; dancing like she never has before, a crowd of teenagers jumping fluidly together letting their minds be taken over by their bodies, a young man attracted to a glowing female face in the crowd that they eventually become one together only for her to see him fade away in his bliss and then come back to her panic stricken then safe reality.
The rest of the film turns out to be a bit of cliché but find me another teenage or even adult dancing scene like this in any form of the screen and I will be, well ecstatic.
