Iggy: I'll admit, I have never really studied the platypus, but I am absolutely shocked that this one somehow followed you all the way to Africa. It seems impossible.
Ferb: Well, ever since George Shaw wrote the first description of the platypus for highly skeptical European scientists in 1798, this unique creature has become synonymous with the word 'impossible'.
Phineas: You know, Ferb's right.
Isabella, Buford, Baljeet: [calmly] Yeah.
Candace: Really? You're all satisfied with that answer?
Lawrence: Alright, well, we're turning in.
Buford: Yeah, me too.
Phineas: Good night.
Candace: Seriously, a platypus crosses the Atlantic Ocean, finds you on the vast continent of Africa, and no one feels this is worthy of a longer discussion?
Phineas: It's been a long day, Candace. Go to sleep.
Buford: Yeah, it'll probably all make sense in the morning.
Candace: Really? That's it? Nobody's with me here?

The "Where's Perry" two parter is an absolute delight. The first part works wonderfully in every single way, setting things up for the even more action packed second part incredibly well while being a wonderful 'Phineas and Ferb' episode in its own right. It is also a change of pace, with less of the usual formula and instead giving more prominent roles to supporting characters, my favourite character taking centre stage and seeing a different side to a character that you would not think be what they become.
Everything works in "Where's Perry Part 1". The animation is bright and colourful, with such vibrant colours that literally pop out at you and beautifully detailed backgrounds. The music is in the style that is not usually my style of choice when listening to music, but it is very catchy and pleasant to listen to. The theme song is irresistible with a melody that sticks in the head for days without being an earworm and with very quotable lyrics.
Writing is spot on, while the character writing and interaction is neither bland or annoying and the voice work fits every character like a glove. The story is full of energy with more suspense than usual and loved that there was more of a spy in action quality to it, like an extended Perry and Doofenschmirtz subplot with minor characters in bigger roles. Doofenschmirtz is a riot and seeing Carl in this way was interesting and quite a shock at first.
Anybody who loves Perry will be in platypus heaven, he is both very amusing and rootable and a character with heart and brains.
Overall, wonderful. 10/10.
