- Korra discovers a way she may be able to defeat the ultimate dark spirit and save the world.
- After losing Raava to Unalaq, Tenzin encourages Korra not to give up. Tenzin shows Korra the Tree of Time and she is able to tap her energy into the universe, she becomes a towering spirit of herself. Korra heads to Republic City via a spirit portal to stop her evil uncle from causing chaos. Tenzin, Kya, Mako, Bolin, along with Desna and Eska fight off the evil spirits. During a lengthy battle, UnaVaatu tries to spirit bend Korra, but at the last minute, Jinora arrives in her spirit form to assist Korra, who brings Raava's residual light back. Korra finally gets Raava back from the Dark Avatar, she uses her spirit bending to dissipate her uncle and Vaatu. Korra finally merges with Raava again, but she can no longer contact her past lives. Korra decides to leave the spirit portals open to usher in a new peace to the world. Korra apologizes to her cousins for not saving their father, but Desna and Eska assure Korra that they aren't going to miss their father and the cousins end up on good terms with Korra. Desna and Eska decide to return to the Northern Water Tribe and they become co-chiefs in their late father's place. At the Southern Water Tribe Palace, Mako tries to tell Korra about their break up, but she tells him that she remembered what happened. Korra and Mako break up on good terms, due to their differing roles. Korra declares the Water Tribe Civil War over and she tells her people that both the Southern & Northern Water Tribes will continue to be allies. Korra announces that the Southern Water Tribe Council has elected Tonraq to become chief of the newly independent Southern Water Tribe.—dawsonpersi
