I'm guessing they just...ran out of money?

Warning: Spoilers
High (well, medium) concept based on very rudimentary theory, which would be fine if the movie had any depth or complexity whatsoever. At 50 minutes, it's pretty easy to see where they went wrong -- they simply didn't take the time to develop the plot or the situation. Basically the majority of the running time revolves around people, primarily the female lead, discovering things are wonky, with a small amount of time devoted to actually showing the concept in action and showing how the social order breaks down. Comparisons to the Cube series are apt, except, for all their faults, the Cube movies did actually develop the characters and create solid plots that led to genuine tension. Here, I simply don't care about any of them, don't feel the tension and disorientation the movie obviously wants me to feel, and found the fact that the entire plot essentially being reduced to a monologue describing everything that happened over the months/years/whatever in 20 seconds to be deeply lazy. They basically yadda-yadda'd over virtually everything that happened, up to and including every significant iota of character development.

Oh, and that ending made no sense. Megan had already seen exactly how they got out of the parking garage safely -- she took the elevator. That was the divergent choice. They made no significant choices when they all took the stair...a course that led to an empty level and hysteria. Whoever wrote that ending really dropped the ball, and not just on the rudimentary physics.

unoriginal entertainment
I stumbled upon this movie by accident just looking for some sci-fi quick fix to watch. I had low expectations to begin with and that helped me find the movie mildly entertaining in it's humor and unfolding of the events. yet it lacks creativity and originality.

it's a low budget every day movie so don't expect anything new. acting was mediocre, story is another multi-universe theory you'll find it really well done in the 2009 movie "Triangle" but this one explores it in a dull shallow " best guess" sort of way that you'll find yourself saying " really?? is that the best you could come up with? " and the characters are all illogically twisted for the sake of adding mystery.

the movie is only 50 mints long which is the only reason I sat through it all the way till the end. so find something better.

Don't watch this if you value your time

Stupid movie, starts on a high note, then it's all downhill from there. Predictable ending with no good explanation. A very poor take on using 'quantum theory' and what not. Wasted 50 minutes of my life on this.

Awful acting and complete BS

Warning: Spoilers
I'm very into multi universes, alternate realities and anything related, but this show is so dumb it angers me. So after one try and couldn't get out of the garage, you sat there and just gave up. What type of morons would do that? 2 grown men couldn't fight one shorter man of similar size. After you threw a punch and you walked away and let the guy come back and kill you. Really!!???? It is so full of nonsense I'm done watching 20 mins in. COHERENCE is a much much much better movie. This one is beyond garbage. Megan must be an idiot when she never said anything when she kept seeing herself in a different state. Wait, that's how we all react! Lol. And the acting? YouTubers were better!

M Theory

You don't see enough movies on this physics theory! Quite enjoyable! Could have been done a bit better, but I love a multi-verse movie!!

An enjoyable time travel/multiverse romp

This is a great little film. Yeah, it's low budget and a couple of times the sound is a bit shonky, ignore that. It's quirky, interesting and doesn't outstay it's welcome. I love stuff like this.

Absolutely nothing wrong with low budget if it's done well, and this really is. No special effects, pretty much 3 locations, difficult to do this wrong.

It certainly doesn't warrant the 1 star reviews some people have left. Maybe they're upset it's not got recognisable names or has the gloss of a Hollywood movie. Kind of shallow if that's the case.

It's under 50 minutes. Give it a go. Nothing to lose.

Damn string theory. Gets me every time...

Clever, fun feature (albeit short). After 20 minutes I was hooked in. Writer/director Matt Stedman nails the intersection of heady and enjoyable. Would be a terrific episode for some sort of anthology series at only 50 minutes. I would watch the show that gave this guy the reins.
