The Secretary of Defense should NOT be in military uniform.
The USAF does not have any units designated as Company so the order "Company,Attention" is in error.
The US Secretary of Defense is portrayed wearing the uniform of a four star U.S. Army officer. The Secretary of Defense is not allowed to be a current member of the US Armed Services. Thus, no military uniform is allowed to be worn. The position is a civilian position.
The Secretary of Defense is referred to as "Secretary" not as "General."
The pilot who was killed when the advanced aircraft he was flying crashed was referred to as an airman. Airman is an enlisted rank in the Air Force. The pilot would have been an officer, most likely a Captain or higher in rank.
When speaking of a fighter jet, the model first mentioned is the the F-21 as there is a transition everyone calls it the F-41 this inconsistency should have stood out to all but was apparently too small to be noticed as it was by everyone in my living room during the 5th Episode.
The Secretary of Defense CAN NOT be an active duty officer. The current SecDef had to get a waiver from Congress to serve so soon after his retirement.
