Star lawyer Lawrence Brand, Jane's idol since law school because of class action against big bad companies, gets Parker to clear her agenda, after a bizarre joint TV talk show appearance, to co-chair the case against a drug company whose pregnant patient claims it willfully withheld due caution warnings. Lawrence however behaves erratic, compromising the case while blaming others, so badly that Jane seeks and finds confirmation he's affected by a mental disorder. Grayson defends Stacy against charming date Jonah Pierce who proves a 'patent troll', who claims half the Pakery's profits.
