The script for the movie was still being written when shooting began. The actors did not know the ending to the movie until it was shot.
David Rothrock was told he would only be involved in about a week's worth of shooting and that it was a small role. However, production problems caused the shoot to span eight months and he ended up being required for 90% of it.
Several made-up deleted scenes were shot based on running inside jokes during filming. They were never intended to be included in the film.
This is the first narrative feature length project to come out of The North East School of the Arts in San Antonio, TX.
